Descend into a procedurally generated dungeon lit by nothing but the torch in your hand. Every floor is bigger, darker and deadlier than the last. The light falls off with distance, so the blackness ahead always holds a little dread, and something is usually waiting in it. How deep can you get? STEP, TURN, FIGHT Classic first-person, grid-based crawling in the spirit of the great dungeon crawlers of the 80s and 90s, rebuilt for touch: • Swipe up to step forward, and walk into a monster to attack it • Swipe left or right to turn • Swipe down to back away Rats and bats haunt the upper floors; slimes and skeletons wait below. Every monster you leave standing takes another step toward you each turn, so hesitation costs blood. BUILD YOUR HERO Name your adventurer, then spend a point-buy budget across four attributes: • Strength: how hard you hit • Dexterity: your chance to dodge a blow entirely • Vitality: raw health • Luck: critical hits and better loot Your class is chosen by your strongest attribute (Warrior, Rogue, Guardian or Trickster), and each comes with its own passive bonus. Every number previews live as you spend, or hit Reroll for a random spread. LOOT THE DARK Most pickups take effect the moment you step on them: • Potions, bread and hearts to heal and raise your max HP • Gold and gems, which also buy your way back from death • Blades and whetstones to sharpen your attack • Shields that soak the next few hits, torch oil that burns brighter, healing herbs that regenerate • An hourglass that freezes every enemy, and boots of haste that let you move twice per monster turn • Fire scrolls that erupt on pickup, and maps that reveal the whole floor Fall in battle? Spend your gold to revive right where you dropped, or roll a fresh hero and start the descent again. Short on gold? Optional gold packs are available in the game, and the biggest one also doubles your hero's max HP. EVERY PIXEL AND NOTE MADE FROM CODE There are no asset files. Every texture, sprite and letter is generated by the game itself. Every sound effect is synthesized on the fly, and every floor composes its own music track: a fresh tempo, scale, chord progression and melody each time you go deeper. A single flickering torchlight shades the bump-mapped stonework around you. FEATURES • Endless, procedurally generated floors that change palette as you descend • Point-buy character creation with four classes • More than a dozen items and timed power-ups • A minimap that fills in as you explore • Gold-fuelled revival, or permadeath if you can't pay • Procedural graphics, sound effects and per-level music • Auto-saves every floor and whenever you leave the app, so Continue picks up exactly where you were • Plays on iPhone and iPad, with hardware keyboard support on iPad • Plays fully offline. No ads, no tracking • Optional in-app gold packs; the whole game is playable without them
