Hockey Beasts is a fast 1v1 arcade ice hockey game. Pick an animal team and play short online matches against another player or a computer-controlled opponent. You can play without paying. The game offers optional in-app purchases: packs of Coins, the game's virtual currency. How matches work Pick an arena. We look for another player for a short time, up to about 20 seconds. If no one is found, you play a computer-controlled opponent. This applies to every match with an entry in Coins. The computer opponent's strength is set by the arena, with small random differences between opponents. It does not change during the match or depend on your Coin balance. Arenas cannot be bought. A locked arena depends on your Fans, not on a purchase. Each arena has an entry in Coins. Coins have no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for money or withdrawn. You earn Coins in the game. You can also buy them in Coin packs (optional in-app purchase). The entry is taken only when you are matched with a player or the computer. Searching costs no Coins, and neither does stopping the search. A win gives you twice your entry in Coins, minus a 10% fee on that amount. Example: entry 50 Coins, win 90 Coins. The arena card shows the entry and the win before you play. A draw refunds your entry with no fee. Entry, fee, Coins won and Fans follow the same rules whether your opponent is a player or the computer. Fast matches • Short matches with simple touch controls: pass, shoot and score with your team of beasts. • A win earns Fans, a loss costs some. More Fans grow your stands, which earn more Coins from tickets, and raise the upgrade limit of your team. Fans cannot be bought. Grow your beasts • Two animal teams are open from the start. More open as your level goes up. Your level rises as you play. Teams and levels cannot be bought. • Earn XP from online matches and use it to upgrade your defenders, forward and goalie. Upgrades cost XP only. XP and upgrades cannot be bought. • Complete daily missions and reach the weekly goal. Coins Coins are virtual. They have no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for money, withdrawn, transferred or sold. You start with 1,000 Coins and earn more without a purchase: the daily reward, tickets from your stands, daily missions, the weekly goal, a first-win bonus each day and optional rewarded ads. You can also buy Coins in Coin packs (optional in-app purchase). Coins are spent only on arena entries and lobby styles. Lobby styles are cosmetic and change only the look of the lobby. They are paid with Coins only and are not in-app purchases. Free Practice is always available: an offline match against the computer with no entry and no rewards. In-app purchases The only in-app purchases are Coin packs: 500, 1,200 or 3,000 Coins, and a one-time starter pack of 6,000 Coins. Each one is optional and adds Coins to your balance. No in-app purchase is needed for anything else in this description. Fans, levels, XP, animal teams, arenas and upgrades cannot be bought. They depend on how you play. Daily missions, the weekly goal, the daily reward, tickets from your stands and Free Practice need no purchase. Arena entries and lobby styles are paid with Coins, which you earn in the game or buy in Coin packs (optional in-app purchase). Good to know • Online matches need an internet connection. • The game has no sign-in or registration and no cloud save. Progress and Coins, including Coins from in-app purchases, are stored on your device. Deleting the game deletes them.
