Space Trek 2150
Space Trek 2150 - A Super Starship game Note that to render the universe and planets requires a decent amount of memory. It is recommended to have a device with A12 or later. The year is 2150. You are captain of your own starship. Explore a universe of one million stars and 18 million planets and moons. Each star has a unique solar system with planets and moons. Are you a fan of No Man's Sky, Star Trek or Space Engine? This simulation was directly inspired by those very genres. The universe is seamless and true to scale. Stars are really light years distance apart from each other. As you approach a star the solar system will become visible and you can visit and land on any planet or moon. It truly is a massive universe. The entire universe is 212 light years across. If your ship traveled at the speed of light it would take you 212 years to go from end to end. When exploring such a massive universe you will quickly realize just how slow the speed of light really is. Luckily your ship travels much much faster than the speed of light. To start with your ship speed is set to 0.1 light years per second (3,153,333 times the speed of light) and with enough credits the engines can be upgraded to as fast as 1 light year per second. Extreme and exaggerated speeds such as this are needed to explore the simulated universe in a reasonable amount of time. For context The Orville with its Quantum Drive can travel as fast as 10 light years per hour and the Starship Enterprise at warp 10 can only travel at 1,000 times the speed of light or 10 light years in about 4 days. If you are the first to scan a star system you become the owner of that star system. Likewise if you are the first to scan a planet or moon you become the owner of that planet or moon, forever. Other starship captains will see your discoveries and you will see theirs. Space Trek 2150 is all about discovery, not combat. Your ship has no weapons. Gain points by discovering stars, planets and moons. Upgrade your ship by collecting minerals from the planets and moons and cashing them in for credits at a starbase. Use the credits to upgrade your ship. Collect planet beacons for additional points. Complete side missions for points and credits or minerals. Don't forget to refuel your ship and recharge your life support systems along the way. This can be done at any starbase and your ship computer can plot a course for you to the nearest starbase if needed. If you've played my other Super Starship games then you will feel right at home. This game has a whole new universe to explore. Go Forth and Explore the Universe! "Just give me a starship and stars to steer her by" - Les Bird
